The following is a brief syllabus of what is taught at Ninpo Toronto Ninjutsu:
Ninpo is a Way which explores appropriateness, in a wide array of situations. Ninpo translates as the way of perseverance.
We provide highly effective, duplicable, practical combat abilities, which are the key to survival in a high stress, real world environment. One might be faced with a wide range of situations: close quarters such as stairwells, hallways, doorways, moving at night or in a vehicle. Techniques have to be usable in everyday situations and when off balance such as being in a chair, being surprise attacked, if injured and with heavy clothing or carrying equipment.
Ninpo Toronto Ninjutsu provides ways of overcoming larger attackers, multiple attackers, full circle varying height attacks, edged weapons, blunt objects and various hazards that can bring harm.
Ninpo Toronto Ninjutsu teaches how to creatively and spontaneously respond to various situations. Whether you are outsized, against a stronger, faster opponent, or outnumbered by your adversaries, Ninpo Toronto Ninjutsu will provide you with solutions.
Ninpo Taijutsu is older than Tai Chi. Its roots can be traced back further than Japan and comes from the same body of knowledge as Yoga, Chinese medicine and mysticism.
Ninjutsu is the self-protection and development method of the ancient Japanese Shinobi-no-mono (Ninja).
Taijutsu are the body and movement skills that were once taught to Japan's legendary Ninja Warriors. Many of these techniques have formed the roots of modern sports martial arts such as Judo, Aikido, Jiujitsu and MMA and the basis of police defensive tactics and military hand to hand combat.
